    What are the main drive system mechanisms of the injection molding machine manipulator? The composition of the injection manipulator is generally composed of an execution system, a drive system, and a control system. The execution and drive system is mainly designed to complete the normal function of the arm. The operation of the mechanical parts is driven by pneumatic or electric motor to achieve the function of fetching objects.
There are four main types of drive mechanisms used by manipulators: hydraulic drive, pneumatic drive, electrical drive and mechanical drive. Among them, hydraulic drive and pneumatic drive are the most used.
    1. Hydraulic drive
    The hydraulically driven manipulator usually consists of a hydraulic motor (various oil cylinders, oil motors), servo valves, oil pumps, oil tanks, etc., and the drive system is composed of the actuating mechanism of the driving manipulator. Usually it has a great snatch ability (up to several hundred kilograms), and it is characterized by compact structure, smooth movement, impact resistance, vibration resistance, and good anti-explosion. However, hydraulic components require high manufacturing accuracy and sealing performance. Otherwise, oil leakage will pollute the environment.
    2. Air driven
    The drive system is usually composed of air cylinders, air valves, air tanks and air compressors. It is characterized by convenient air source, rapid action, simple structure, low cost and convenient maintenance. But it is difficult to control the speed, and the air pressure cannot be too high, so the snatch ability is low.
    3. Electric drive
    Electric drive is the most commonly used drive method for manipulators. It is characterized by convenient power supply, fast response, large driving force (the joint-type holding weight has reached 400kg), signal detection, transmission, and processing are convenient, and a variety of flexible control schemes can be adopted. The driving motor generally adopts a stepping motor, and the direct current servo motor (AC) is the main driving method.
    Due to the high speed of the motor, a reduction mechanism (such as harmonic drive, RV cycloid pinwheel drive, gear drive, screw drive and multi-bar mechanism, etc.) is usually used. This manipulator has begun to use a high-torque, low-speed motor without a reduction mechanism for direct drive (DD), which can simplify the mechanism and improve the control accuracy.
    4. Mechanically driven
    The mechanical drive is only used for the occasions where the action is fixed. Generally, a cam link mechanism is used to achieve the prescribed action. It is characterized by reliable action, high working speed and low cost, but it is not easy to adjust.
